Brooke Prins
Youth Ministry Leader
Brooke Prins is Bethany’s Youth Ministry Leader, running our Sunday School program, managing the Kids Connect service group, assisting with Confirmation, and ensuring that youth of all ages have positive learning and growth experiences at Bethany. She began attending Bethany in 2004 after moving from the Detroit area back to her hometown of Escanaba.
Brooke received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from Albion College. When she moved back to Escanaba with her husband Bob, she worked at EMP in various positions. She eventually decided to leave EMP and stay home with her children, Elena (13), Alex (12), and Jack (10). Nowadays, she keeps busy by working at Bethany, running her photography business, and bringing her kids to their extracurricular activities. She also enjoys traveling with her family and spending time outdoors, with some of her favorite pastimes being wake surfing, mountain biking, and hiking. Brooke and her family live on Lake Bluff in Gladstone.
Brooke has been teaching youth at Bethany for over 10 years and took on the role of Youth Ministry Leader in 2020. She says it’s been a weird year to start working at Bethany with so much of the year being spent virtually, but she’s looking forward to seeing the kids and their smiles in person next year!
